Mrs. Rivas possesses over thirteen years of experience as a licensed clinical social worker who is bilingual and bicultural. She has experience working with a variety of populations which includes LGBTQ+ people, substance addicts and victims of violence in the intimate relationship. Since 2019 she has been working with Mrs. Rivas is serving Erie's clients. The clinic is now offering Telehealth Health services. Mrs. Rivas, who is an active member of the Behavioral Healthcare Perinatal team that works with prenatal and postpartum mothers, offers trauma-informed therapy to adults and specializes on the use of trauma-informed treatments. She provides group and individual counseling sessions, a Medication Assist Therapy Program and referrals for special care facilities, as well as Women's Support Group. Amanda also volunteers at Best Friends Animal Society, helping homeless animals find forever home. She believes that Best Friends slogan "Save Them All" as well as she's committed to making Los Angeles a city with no killing. Amanda is someone who strives to make the most of her every moment.
